We created Showkaze out of our frustration with existing slideshow and portfolio tools in the market. In a nutshell, Showkaze is a tool for creative professionals to connect with their existing media accounts and mash-up their images and videos into a rich, branded online presentation that they can embed on their website or blog.

Showkaze’s unique value is that it doesn’t require users to return to update their presentations when they upload new media to their accounts. Showkaze monitors user accounts and automatically publishes their new photos and videos without further user intervention.

What we did

Market and user analysis, ideation, sketches, wireframes, visual designs, Flex development.

After seveal iterations on the design and prototype, Showkaze was reduced to a single screen that enables users to connect to their media accounts, select which photosets and playlists to show, customize the look and feel of their presentations, and get embed code for their blogs or websites.

Showkaze is so easy to use that it doesn’t require further instructions than a single screen overlay that shows users the four steps needed.
